Why it works
The softest landing in Iceland.
The lagoon sits in a lava field about twenty minutes from Keflavík airport, which makes it a gentle first or last afternoon: off the plane, into warm water, then on into Reykjavík.
The water is geothermal seawater, usually between 37 and 39°C, milky with silica.
