Strokkur erupts every few minutes. Geysir itself gave every geyser its name.

The golden falls drop in two steps into a deep canyon. Expect spray.

The Golden Circle brings the forces that made Iceland into a single drive: the continents pulling apart at Þingvellir, the ground boiling at Geysir, and a glacial river thundering into Gullfoss.
On a private tour you leave when you like, linger where you like, and skip the coach crowds when your guide knows a quieter hour. If there is time, add a stop: Kerið crater, a hot spring, or Faxi waterfall.
